The 95th China Food & Drinks Fair (CFDF) Report

The China Food and Drinks Fair (abbr. as "CFDF" hereafter), begun in 1955, is one of the largest exhibitions in Chinese history, and the most professional and biggest exhibition in the industry. CFDF is sponsored by China National Sugar and Alcohol Group Corp. CFDF is held biannually, in spring and autumn. CFDF is a platform for sales, products, marketing, information disseminating, communicating, and brand publicizing.
The 95th CFDF was held in Fuzhou, during Oct. 20 and 22, 2016. Fuzhou is the capital of Fujian province and it is a major port of China. Fuzhou locates in the southeast of China and is close to Taiwan. The exhibition covered 120,000 m2. It attracted more than 3,000 exhibitors and around 100,000 professional visitors. 25% of the showcased products are imported goods, from over 40 overseas countries and regions.
The booth of Australian Business Chamber was located in the 8th Hall dedicated to imported food and beverages. This time, we brought more than 120 SKUs from 32 EGCers, under the categories of dairy products, wine, food and drinks, and health supplementary. On behalf of all EGCers, we have also participated tailor made business matching session with over 50 targeted buyers including import companies, distributors and e-commerce platforms. The potential leads short list has been sent to EGCers and China team will further evaluate the qualified leads for EGCers in the following weeks.
